I’m a versatile, easy-to-work-with voiceover professional with more than 20 years of experience. I specialize in e-learning, corporate videos, explainer videos, radio and TV commercials, podcasts, audiobooks, IVR recordings, on-hold messaging, and a wide range of web-based applications. My style is conversational and approachable, ensuring your message is heard and understood.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with clients like the National Geographic Society, Shimano Technical Education, Soundview Executive Book Summaries, John Wiley & Sons, NASA, Nickelodeon TV, and the University of California Online, among many others. I am a seasoned graphic designer, fine artist, and children’s book illustrator with over 20 years of professional experience. I’m proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, and I have a proven track record of producing high-quality visuals—whether it’s laying out magazines, designing infographics, rendering detailed room interiors, or bringing entire picture books from manuscript to print. With a strong background in both traditional and digital techniques, I bring a versatile and creative approach to every project I undertake.
After a long career in commercial radio—both on air and behind the scenes in production and writing—I began my voiceover business in 2009, providing a range of services such as commercial reads, eLearning, corporate narrations, explainer video voiceovers, telephony, and more. Working from my professional home studio not only allows me to deliver quality audio but also gives me extra time to create, cook, care for my flowers, and spend time with my husband of over 40 years—and occasionally our adult daughter, who visits now and then.
I’m a Western Michigan University graduate and take pride in the fact that my education continues with every project I take on.
I’m a former radio meteorologist who transitioned into professional voiceover work in 2007. Over the years, I’ve voiced hundreds of projects for major insurance companies, colleges, fast-food chains, and a wide range of tech and health organizations. While I’ve enjoyed all those opportunities, I’ve truly found my niche lending a reassuring, friendly voice to instructional design and e-learning content—enhancing the online learning experience one story at a time.
As an Instructional Designer, I’m passionate about creating dynamic learning experiences. I collaborate closely with Cheryl to bring courses to life, blending creativity with strategy to ensure our students have the best journey possible.
With a background in Psychology and a career that’s spanned Training & Development to e-Learning, I’m always learning myself. I recently earned certifications in Instructional Design, Program Management, and Embodiment Coaching. Outside of work, I love exploring movement, running my neighborhood’s Playshop, and spending time with my cats!
I have over 8 years of experience in designing and delivering impactful training programs, including those focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Throughout my career, I’ve worked with organizations of varying sizes—from smaller teams to mid-size companies with more than 750 employees. I’ve developed a wide range of programs, spanning leadership development, compliance, and skill enhancement, and this variety has given me a well-rounded perspective. By drawing on these experiences, I’m able to tailor training solutions to meet the unique needs of any organization, ensuring they resonate with a diverse workforce and foster meaningful, lasting change.
